Terms
The rules for using Yearover. Short, because the product is small and free during beta.

Who these terms are with
Yearover is operated by Shiftbase Labs Ltd, company number 17027574, England and Wales. By using yearover.com or the email we send you, you accept these terms.
What the service is
Software that compares two filings a company filed with the SEC and describes what changed, quoting the paragraphs and showing figures as the company tagged them in XBRL.
What it is not
Not investment advice, not a recommendation, not a broker or adviser service, and not a source of market prices. The Disclaimer page forms part of these terms.
Who may use it
You must be at least 18 years old.
Your email address
During beta there are no accounts. You give us an address for the waitlist and digest, you confirm it, and you can remove it at any time from any email we send.
Acceptable use
- Don’t crawl or automate the site at a rate that degrades it for others, and don’t work around rate limits or the bot check.
- Don’t republish our reports wholesale or resell them, and don’t present our output as your own research product.
- Quoting a passage with a link back is fine and welcome.
- Don’t use the service to break the law or to mislead anyone about a company.
Filings, our work, and your licence
The filings themselves are public documents of the companies that filed them. Our comparisons, wording, design and code are ours. You may read, quote and share our pages with attribution and a link; everything else needs our permission.
Availability
This is a beta. Features change, reports can be held back or withdrawn, and the service may be unavailable. We make no uptime promise and we may stop offering it.
No warranty
The service is provided as is. We do not warrant that reports are accurate, complete or current, or that the service is fit for a particular purpose.
Limits on our liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for investment losses, lost profits or indirect losses arising from your use of the service, and our total liability is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the previous twelve months or £100. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited, including for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
Changes to these terms
We date changes at the top of this page and tell subscribers about material ones. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.
Law and courts
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales and disputes go to its courts. If you are a consumer elsewhere, you keep the protections your local law gives you. Questions: hello@yearover.com.
