Publisher exclusion and corrections

How a company or a publisher gets something corrected, annotated or taken out of coverage.

Last updated Sep 13, 2026 · Shiftbase Labs Ltd

01

What we publish

Paragraphs from filings companies file with the SEC, set beside the same paragraph in the previous filing, with the Item, the accession number and a link to the document on SEC.gov. Figures come from the filing’s own XBRL tags. We publish no market data, no third-party research and no licensed content.

02

What we will correct

  • A quote that does not match the filing text.
  • A paragraph matched to the wrong paragraph in the earlier filing.
  • A figure attached to the wrong XBRL tag, period or filing.
  • A summary that misstates what the quoted paragraphs say.

Send the report URL, the accession number and the paragraph. We reply within five business days at the latest and log the correction publicly on the changelog.

03

What we will not change

We will not alter a quote so that it reads differently from the filing, drop a change because it is unflattering, or add a company’s commentary to a report. The filing is the record; our job is to show it accurately.

04

Exclusion requests from issuers

If you are the issuer or an authorised representative and want a company left out of coverage, write from a domain we can verify and give the company name and CIK. We confirm receipt, stop processing new filings for that company, and remove existing report pages within ten business days. The coverage page notes that a company was removed at its own request.

05

Publishers and rights holders

If you believe a page reproduces material you own that is not part of a public filing, tell us what it is and where it appears. We take it down while we check.
